As long the software can do an update from the internet so it can perform as the regular one .. but you have to register it first to the program's site
to allow you to do the update, if they rejected you so you can use the program but it will not follow the new Viruses or Trojan
which are increasing day by day and your computer will be affected so you need to have a good protection program as Norton and you need to update it.
